Fitness Coaching for Women in Perimenopause and Menopause

You don't
need a
special
programme.

You need a good one. Evidence-based coaching for women who are tired of being told their hormones are the problem and that they need to scale back the exercise they enjoy.

Is this for you?

You're probably here because

You're new to exercise or getting back into it, and you want a programme that meets you where you are and actually moves you forward.

You don't have to give up the exercise you enjoy. Running, HIIT, lifting — there is a way to keep doing it.

Some days are harder than others. You want a coach who adapts your training to how you're actually feeling rather than ignoring what's going on in your body.

Sleep and energy aren't always consistent. You want to train around that, not just push through or give up entirely.

You want to get stronger, feel better, and see real results. Whatever your starting point.

You don't have hours to spend in the gym. You want sessions that are short, focused, and actually work.

You want someone who bases training around evidence and won't try to sell you a supplement.

I'm a personal trainer specialising in women in perimenopause and menopause. Whether you've been training for years or you're just starting out, the coaching I build is grounded in the same thing: what does your body actually need right now, and how do we work with it rather than against it?

Perimenopause and menopause bring real symptoms. Fatigue, disrupted sleep, changes in energy and mood. A good programme doesn't ignore those things. It adapts to them. That doesn't mean doing less. It means doing the right things at the right time, so you keep making progress even on the harder days.

I run and I lift, and I do both because I genuinely believe women don't have to choose between the two. The idea that running will wreck your progress or that you need to drop HIIT when your hormones change is something I see repeated constantly online. Most of it isn't backed up by the evidence.

I also work full time, run two businesses, and I'm a mum. I am not writing this from a place of having endless hours to spend in the gym. I know exactly what it is to have a busy, unpredictable day, a packed schedule, and still want to train seriously. The workouts I build are short, focused, and effective because that's what my own life requires, and I know most of my clients are in exactly the same boat.

Before this, I spent over two decades as an educator. That means I'm good at explaining things clearly, cutting through jargon, and calling out nonsense when I see it. Which, in the fitness industry, is often.

Honest, evidence-informed coaching that meets you where you are and moves you forward.

What clients say

Results, not promises

"I've worked with a lot of coaches who didn't seem to understand why my body wasn't responding the way it used to. Sam got it immediately. Genuinely changed how I think about training."
— Rachel, 49, Dubai
"Refreshingly direct. She told me what I needed to hear, not what I wanted to hear. My strength numbers are the best they've been in years."
— Liz, 52, UK
"I wasn't sure what to expect but Sam just got it. The plan made sense, she explained the reasoning behind everything, and when things needed to change she changed them. I've made more progress in a few months than I had in years."
— Niamh, 47, Ireland
